Another of the functions of INDUS is to provide professional guidance worldwide to small to medium
size companies wishing to expand their marketing or manufacturing
capacities overseas. We achieve this through the medium of a feasibility
study of the country of choice, jointly with a market research study
relative to the client's product or service.
A feasibility study is imperative to those companies wishing to venture overseas as it will alert them to any possible pitfalls and also affect a substantial economy of time and money to the client. This is predicated on the assumption that they have little prior knowledge of the country of their choice and that their potential investment would be in the millions or, at least many hundreds of thousands of dollars, whereas the fees and costs of INDUS would be but a fraction of those sums. It is anticipated that generally the entire study could be accomplished within two to three months depending largely, of course, on the requirements of the client; the depth of the study would, however, be dictated by the client.
The studies would provide our clients with sufficient information on the chosen country and their product or service in that country, to permit them to make a truly informed decision as to the feasibility of commencing operations. The studies will include overviews, among others, of the economic, political, legal, and financial scenes together with advice on matters pertaining specifically to marketing or manufacturing the client's product or service in that country. Studies will be based on secondary data. However, primary data can be generated & used, if the client so desires.
We obviously suggest great care in the choice of country for this purpose as we consider some to be more suitable than others due to their greater economic and political stability. However, this would not preclude a client from having a study performed in any country of their choice.
